After completing two new artworks, I was surprised when Poppy, my 4 year old daughter grabbed hold of the reference photos and decided that they were too dull. After a quick think about which colours their faces suited, off she went with her brushes and watercolour set.
The result above really helps us to remember that nothing is taboo in art, I think that they are better than my interpretations that can be seen here. We should always remember to look at the world sideways to ensure that we keep our minds open and fluid and if that is something that you are into, I recommend digesting any of Alan Fletcher's books especially The Art of Looking Sideways.
